Old Republic Beta Pulls in 2 Million Players
Star Wars: The Old Republic has had over two million players sign up for the beta test, EA revealed earlier today.
Thanksgiving weekend saw a whopping three quarters of a million people sign up, which according to publishers EA accumulated over 9 million hours of play time in total. It may only be at the beta stage for the moment, but it appears that Star Wars: The Old Republic is off to a good start, and no doubt the player count will increase significantly when the full game is released.
Star Wars: The Old Republic will be released in North America and Europe on the 20th December.
