Expanding on the original teaser clip, this new trailer reveals that, one decade on from the Raccoon City incident, Chris Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy now have to stop the new C-Virus. The virus introduces a new zombie, the J'avo, which has the ability to regenerate. The trailer also shows us a longer glimpse at Jake Muller, the son of the late Albert Wesker. It turns out that Jake's blood is the cure for the outbreak, but with him evading authorities, catching him isn't going to be an easy task.
Fans will enjoy seeing Leon and Chris sharing the screen together, as well as a few other familiar faces in the form of Sherry Birkin from Resident Evil 2, and Ada Wong.
Resident Evil 6 was scheduled for a release on the 20th November 2012, but the trailer has confirmed that the game has now been shifted forward to a 2nd October 2012 release. Capcom have not explained the reason behind this as of yet.
Check out the trailer below, and let me know what you think! Personally, I think it's shaping up to be an excellent game. We'll see!
