Nintendo have announced that they are teaming up with Namco Bandai for the next two editions of their well loved Super Smash Bros. series.
Whilst Smash Bros. original creator Masahiro Sakurai will still be in charge of the games, developers from Namco Bandai will also be lending a helping hand. The latest titles, on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, will apparently be the "most powerful games" in the series.
Both Sakurai and Namco Bandai's Yoshito Higuchi and Kenya Kobayashi, both on board for the games, have stated that fans will see a brand new team to play with, and no doubt a few fan favourites will also be making a welcome appearance once again.
It's early days, and we've got a long wait ahead of us before the latest Smash Bros. is out...but what do you think of this news?
