The Animal Crossing Birthday Calendar is So Cute!

Animal Crossing is one of my favourite series. It's a series I dip into frequently, as it never fails to make me smile, and is a fantastic game to play when you are looking for something relaxing, and less taxing. What can be more relaxing than talking to cute animals, and completing simple tasks like fishing, bug hunting, and fruit collecting?

I was happy to see that just before Christmas, Nintendo had released a printable Animal Crossing 'birthday calendar' on the My Nintendo store. Purchased for 80 Platinum Points, this calendar includes the birthdays of a collection of Animal Crossing villagers, so you can load up Animal Crossing New Leaf on any of these days, and help the villagers to celebrate their birthdays! Sent as a PDF, you'll then get the choice to print it out and create your own calendar - something I plan to do soon.

In the meantime, here's a few of the graphics and birthdays you'll see in a few of the months.

The calendar can be purchased with points on the My Nintendo store here

Nintendo's StreetPass Day at Waterloo Station

Whilst I could not make it to Eurogamer today, I did manage to drop in on Nintendo's National StreetPass Day, held at Waterloo Station in London.

Nintendo 3DS owners were encouraged to visit Waterloo Station or Manchester's Piccadilly Station, whilst Eurogamer Expo also displayed a StreetPass Day stand.

The event offered the chance for 3DS players to meet-in person and via the StreetPass service throughout the day. As well as this, there was a chance to win prizes in the multiplayer gaming events (for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Luigi's Mansion 2 and Mario Kart 7) and a chance to have a photo taken with Luigi.

All in all, it was a great way to meet other fans-young, old and in-between,and it gave me a chance to get further on the StreetPass games, as coming by fellow StreetPass users in my town is a rarity. Maybe you met my Mii, or I met yours?

Myself, racking up those StreetPass hits!
