Team Bondi Release Whore of the Orient Details

The first news for Team Bondi's upcoming IP Whore of the Orient was released today.

Team Bondi released a blurb, which you can read below:

“Shanghai, 1936. Whore of the Orient. Paris of the East. The most corrupt and decadent city on the planet, where anything can be had or done for the right price. Plaything of Western powers who greedily exploit the Chinese masses. Boiling pot of Chinese nationalism, with the Kuomintang ruthlessly trying to suppress Communism and the labour movement. Home to the International Police Force, a group of Western cops hopelessly trying to keep the lid on and keep the peace.
“From the development team who brought you LA Noire and The Getaway, along with the Academy Award winning film production team of Kennedy Miller Mitchell comes a completely new and original IP being developed for next generation games consoles and PC.”

Personally, I loved LA Noire, and also love playing a cop (currently doing so in Sleeping Dogs), so I'm holding out for a good game here. More details will be released soon. In the meantime, check out the screenshot Team Bondi released along with the blurb below.

L.A. Noire Boss to Work on Mad Max 4

Team Bondi may have disbanded, amongst the controversy surrounding the working conditions during the production of L.A. Noire, but Brendan McNamara is back. The L.A. Noire creator's new development team have announced that they are working on a game tie-in for Mad Max 4: Fury Road. The game version of Mad Max was originally going to be made in Sweden, until George Miller, the films director, saw what the L.A. Noire developer was capable of.

Miller has also secured the rights to McNamara's next concept entitled Whore of the Orient.
