Guild Wars 2: World vs World
A new video has been released for Guild Wars 2.
This behind the scenes video shows designers Matt Witter and Mike Ferguson talking about World vs. World, where three teams battle for control over objectives across four maps. Not only is there a heavy interest in multi-player gameplay, but there are plenty of customizable personal storylines, action and exploration. Plus, you get all of this without a monthly subscription fee!

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Takes a Misguided Leap
With Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on the horizon, it was to be expected that Ubisoft would be wanting to drive their marketing campaign and show people some of the real game play that there is to offer. It could provide a chance to show off all of the content that the beta players were able to experience.
The latest video that turned up a little while ago bypasses all of what you would expect. Instead of the developers showing off what they have to offer and grabbing our attention with the games great technical aspects, we are left with Coco.
Whilst Coco is a woman who apparently likes guns and games, she leaves us in the dark about all of the games content. She discloses why the game is good for her, and the video acts more as a showcase for her than the actual game itself. Now if this was an advert for some crude poker game or yet another Dead or Alive Volley Ball sequel the marketing campaign may have had some relevance.
Whilst sex sells, the youtube comments alone for the video show that gamers are not happy with the content. Whilst I cannot argue with a busty blonde in a skimpy outfit, I just feel that they missed the mark and misjudged their customers. Ghost Recon as a series is far from tongue in cheek and as a result the video sends out too many mixed messages about what Ubisoft want from their fans and what actually is in the game.

Darksiders II Dev Diary: Death Details
The development team at Vigil Games have come together in the Darksiders II Dev Diary to reveal some of the details from this upcoming game.
The video features a commentary from Creative Director Joe Madureira, Game Director Marvin Donald, Art Director Han Randhawa, General Manager David Adams, Lead Designer Haydon Dalton and Producer Ryan Stefanelli. It gives us a look at what makes Death a much deeper, interesting and exciting character than War in the previous Darksiders title. Those lending their voices to the commentary also discuss Death's weapons, what the combat is like, and much more.
It appears that Darksiders II is shaping up quite nicely. Check out the video below, and see if you agree.

8-Bit Warfare!
It's easy to sink a few hours into YouTube, with plenty of great video game related videos to keep any gamer happy. Being a YouTube fan myself, I was pleased when a YouTuber by the name of Miles Luders contacted me with a gaming video he was involved in, which he thought I would enjoy. Thankfully, he was right.
Created by a bunch of film makers under the collective name Filmageddon, "8-Bit Warfare", the video in question, aims to be a spoof of zombie films. No zombies are evident here, instead they have been replaced with a hoard of hostile, but familiar Nintendo characters.
This brief video not only serves as an enjoyable, and rather funny spoof, but it also provides some great effects, good editing and a fitting bunch of sound effects. Some of the sound effects may sound familiar to some-I was convinced I heard a Halo-esque sound in there, but I may be wrong!.

Nintendo Video App Released Tomorrow
This little piece of news opens up yet another way of using the Nintendo 3DS, and thankfully, the app is free to download. Spotpass, a feature which allows gamers to pick up items for games, or meet other connected 3DS' whilst on their journeys is incorporated here. This means that whenever your 3DS is near an internet hotspot it is able to download the clips for you straight away. This is extremely handy if a video subscription service is available at some point, as this ensures the user does not miss a single video in the series.
As it is very early days, not much more has been announced about this free app, but no doubt a lot of companies will be interested in getting involved in this.
