Insert Coin T-Shirt WINNERS!

Thank you to everyone who entered my Insert Coin Clothing T-Shirt Giveaway this month!

I had over a hundred entries in total. Each person was entered into a random number generator, which I used to randomly pick two winners. Here they are!

Also, both happened to be Twitter entries, as the majority of the entrants entered via the re-tweet rather than the Facebook option.

@HittingWalnut won the Tomb Raider t-shirt.

@JamesGrantham26 won the Far Cry t-shirt.

I have contacted both on Twitter, and their t-shirts will be winging their way through the post tomorrow!

NintyFans Smash Bros. Competition

I often use 8-Bit Girl as a place to let my readers know about my Nintendo deviantART group's competitions. Every few months or so, NintyFans holds an art competition based on a particular theme, with a bunch of prizes up for grabs each time.

The theme this time is:

Smash Bros. Characters
Draw a character you want in the next Smash Bros. game. They have to be a character that has never been added to the series character roster before!

Prize Donations?

As for the prizes, there are drawing commissions, features and more up for grabs, but we are still on the lookout for more!

If you are a dab hand at being creative, or would just love to feature some fantastic Nintendo art on your gaming blog amongst any other prizes you may have available to donate, then please get in touch with me!

I would be happy to add your prize to the competition blog. Also, please feel free to enter yourselves if drawing is a passion of yours. As the saying goes, the more the merrier!

I've been sorting through my gaming bits and pieces in the last week as I finish off the packing for our new house (we move in two weeks, so excited!).

I'm planning a much bigger giveaway once we've moved, (come back at the beginning of June!) but in the meantime, I thought I'd host a little competition for these two items I re-discovered whilst packing:

NintyFans Halloween Contest Announced

It's that time again, folks!

My Nintendo group which I founded over on deviantART (called NintyFans) is currently running a Halloween competition. 

The aim is to create a Nintendo themed Halloween art-piece. Any mediums are accepted (as long as they abide by the current group rules). 

Prizes include art pieces drawn by several deviants, art features and hopefully soon, even more. Normally these NintyFans contests gain a lot of great prizes in the end, so it is worth entering if you are a member of the group.

Insert Coin Clothing Giveaway Winner Is...

Thank you to everyone who entered my competition to win a £25 Insert Coin Clothing voucher. I got 150 entries in total, which is the most I've ever had for a giveaway!

Participants could choose one of three ways to enter: Twitter, Facebook or by sending me an email. I then wrote down each person's name and they were all assigned a number each. I then used the random number generator online to pick one lucky winner.
