Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection Out Now

Capcom's Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection is now available to play via the Playstation Store

Costing £21.99, this bundle combines Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, which have both been remastered for the Playstation 3. As well as new HD graphics, the pack also supports Playstation Move compatibility.

The games are also available to purchase as standalone titles on the 18th July for £11.99 each.

Both games were previously released on the Nintendo Wii, and provided a deeper insight into the events of the Resident Evil series. Both were fun on the rails style shooters to play, and Resident Evil fans should appreciate the nods back to previous events in the series.

Playstation Move Was "Not A Success"

Sony UK's VP and MD Fergal Gara has admitted that Sony's Playstation Move has not been a success.

Speaking to Official Playstation Magazine, Gara admitted that Sony have not provided enough quality titles for Playstation Move. Check out the statement below, taken from the interview.

“What I’m thinking is that it’s better suited towards the casual market, certainly, but we also are pretty clear that we could have done a better job on the titles we’ve had and we’ve brought to market for the PlayStation Move. As you’ve said, great tech, probably not so great applications so far. So there’s a job for us to do on the strength of games, and having seen what’s forthcoming gives me great hope that we can do a better job with Move as we look forward. So we’re certainly not forgetting about it.”

Oddworld Stranger's Wrath to Hit PS3

Another title in the Oddworld series is about to hit the Playstation 3. Oddworld Strangers Wrath HD will feature 720p visuals, much more detail in the characters, re-mastered dialogue, extra material, and much more.

The game was intended for stereoscopic 3D and Playstation Move capabilities, but the initial version will not feature these, due to time limits, according to Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray on Playstation Blog. These will be added in a few months time though.

Oddworld Stranger's Wrath HD will be available to download on the 21st December 2011. Check out the announcement trailer below.
