Resident Evil 6 Release Date Leaked?

IGN have reported that a poster has emerged online showing what appears to be the official Resident Evil 6 logo and release date. Apparently, the game will be released on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on the 20th November 2012. 

The poster will remain a rumour for now though, as Capcom have refused to comment on the poster when IGN prompted them on it. We'll just have to wait for more news. 

Forza 4 December Pack

Forza 4 keeps on with the steady flow of DLC vehicles for your garages, with ten new cars heading your way in this weeks December DLC pack.


The IGN-sponsored pack comes out on the 6th of December and it will cost 560 MS points, however if you have forked out for the Season Pass then these will be yours as soon as they are available.

Perfect Scores for Skyward Sword!

Skyward Sword is due out on the 18th November, but reviews have started trickling in. Thankfully for Zelda fans, they've been really positive. In fact, Skyward Sword is being billed as the best game in The Legend of Zelda series. I managed to grab a go at the demo when I was covering the MCM Expo, and I'm pleased to say that the praise has most definitely been justified. 


Games website IGN have awarded The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword an amazing 10/10.  They state that it is "the greatest Zelda game ever created and one of the finest video game accomplishments of the past 10 years." 


Edge Magazine and The Guardian also gave it a perfect 10/10. Official Nintendo Magazine gave it a respectable 98%, which is their highest review score ever, beating the previous highest rated Zelda game, Ocarina of Time.  


A few gamers felt that Skyward Sword justified a slightly lower 8/10 rating, but this is still an excellent score. With so many big name reviewers holding the game in the highest regard, it is hard not to get excited.

No Liotta in GTA V

Yesterday afternoon the GTA trailer was released, generating a lot of hype and a few big questions. Many fans were left wondering if Tommy Vercetti will be coming back, due to an older man in the trailer who bared perhaps more than a passing resemblance to this character. 


For those of you who do not know, Tommy Vercetti was the protagonist of 1980s set Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, who was voiced by Goodfella's star Ray Liotta. Today, IGN got in touch with the actors representatives, and found out that Liotta's voice was not used in the trailer. 


So, is the protagonist of GTA V an older Tommy Vercetti, with a different voice actor? Or maybe it's a completely different character altogether. Only time will tell.
