Apple Release Patent For Controller

A patent application for Apple has surfaced online. The patent details the companies own games controller (which looks a lot like the Playstation 3 Dualshock controller).


The controller will be used with existing i0S devices and Apple TV, and can turn iOS devices into a remote control. Check out the full patent details here.

Wii Motes to be Used With Wii U

Nintendo has patented a new accessory that slides onto the standard Wii remote that transforms it into a touch-pad, making it usable for the Wii U.

The device is controlled using mirrors and a single infared LED.  The LED turns on, travels through the mirrors and then uses the light to feed back position data into the remote.  The touch pad can be removed at any time if you wish to use the Wii Mote normally again.
