Resident Evil: ORC Launch Trailer

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City was released in North America yesterday, and Capcom have thrown together a great trailer to mark it's release. The launch trailer shows plenty of action, including glimpses of arguably one of Resident Evil's most terrifying enemies, Nemesis.

Operation Raccoon City is set during the events of Resident Evil 2 and 3, but shown from an enemy perspective. Players get to play as the USS team who have been sent into Raccoon City to eradicate the t and g-virus outbreaks before it becomes a full-spread and widely recognised epidemic. Some of Resident Evil 2 and 3's heroes, including Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine, are witnesses to the incident, and you, the Umbrella members, get the choice to alter the R.E. timeline and kill them...if you so wish.

Check out the trailer below. Resident Evil: ORC will be released in Europe this Friday, the 23rd March 2012.

As Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City launches in North America today and in Europe later this week, Capcom has today released the launch trailer for the game, depicting a hefty dose of bloody violence as the Umbrella Security Services blast their way through hordes of zombies, bio-organic weapons and hulking escaped Tyrants.
Set during the events of Resident Evil 2 and 3, you play as the USS team, sent in to Raccoon City to brush the whole T-virus and G-virus incident under the carpet, destroy the evidence and dispose of any witnesses, including the likes of Leon S. Kennedy, Ada Wong, Jill Valentine et al.
Yes, there will be Nemesis action too, as shown in the launch trailer. Check out the video below, then be sure to read our Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City verdict in our review. Resident Evil: ORC is out today in North America and March 23rd in Europe.

Resident Evil 6's 6 Player Co-op

Resident Evil 6's co-op will feature support for up to six players, according to xbox.com.  Apparently 2-6 players will be able to jump into an online game, whilst offline co-op and split-screen modes will remain a maximum of 2 players only.

It is still not known whether this will be the main story mode or a seperate mode entirely.

The game has been in development for two years already with over 600 staff working on it.  The game features Chris Redfiled, Leon Kennedy and the return of Ashley Graham.  With a host of new characters on board as well, this is bound to show some promise.

Resident Evil 6 Launches on  Xbox360 and PS3 on the 20th of November this year.

Capcom's Resident Evil 6 Press Release

Resident Evil 6's trailer was released yesterday, which I posted and commented on last night. Details were pretty sparse at this point, but more have been revealed by Capcom, which I'm happy to share with all of you.

Capcom have sent around a press release, which I have included in it's entirety below. However, I can provide the short version.

Resident Evil 6 is set ten years after the Raccoon City incident, and the President has decided to reveal the truth behind what happened, in the hope that this will cease any bioterrorist activity. Unfortunately, things are not that simple. Leon Kennedy, the President's personal friend is forced to make a tough decision regarding the fate of the diseased President. At the same time, Chris Redfield is battling BOWs over in China, and soon we realise that no country is safe from the rapidly spreading outbreak.

The game will see Leon and Chris join forces to face the bio-terrorist threat. Also joining them will be a host of new characters, new surroundings and challenges.

Excited yet? Well, I've included the trailer once again at the end of the press release if that helps.

Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Resident Evil 6 Trailer Released

The first trailer for Resident Evil 6 has just been released, and it's epic. Packed full of action, and what appears to be a return to normal zombies, the trailer also shows a much more manlier, older and rugged looking Leon Kennedy, as well as a return of Resident Evil 5's much bulkier Chris Redfield

The plot involves the killing of the President, and a whole new plague of zombies. Could this be a Leon and Chris partnership? Also, was that Ashley I heard in the trailer, or just some soundalike? I think it's time to give it another watch. You can do the same below.

Resident Evil 6 is released on the 20th November 2012.
